Microsoft 365 User Guide for Password Reset

Open any browser and search
admin center or click on the link:

Click on Microsoft 365 Administration.

Click on Admin sign in button.


Sign in with user that has Admin Privileges.


Click on yes.



Now, you should have successfully signed in to Microsoft admin portal.

Click on the Users.

Click on the Active Users.

You can view all active users



Click on the user that you need to reset the Password for.


Click on Reset password.



Now, click the checkboxes

     Automatically create a password

    Require this user to change their password when they first sign in       
   

Click on Reset password.


After that click on Show password.


Copy the password and share that credential with the user.

Now click on close.

Note:  Users need to change password after 1st login
